Criltox is an AI-powered nail art design app that lets you generate custom nail art from photos of your hands, choose from 8 curated design styles, save your creations, and build a personal gallery of your favorite nail looks. This policy applies to all features of the Criltox mobile and web applications.
By using Criltox, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We will only use your information to provide and improve the service for you.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly to us:
- Hand photos: Photos you capture or upload to generate nail art designs. We only process these photos to create your requested nail art, and never use them for identity verification, facial recognition, or any unrelated purpose.
- Personalized descriptions: Text prompts you enter to guide the AI design generation process.
- Account information (optional): If you choose to create an account to sync your gallery across devices, we collect your email address and profile name you provide.
- Saved creations: Nail art designs you save to your personal gallery, and designs you mark as favorites.
Information we collect automatically:
- Device information including device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to resolve technical issues.
- Usage data including the nail art styles you select, number of designs you generate, and feature usage patterns to improve our service and recommend styles you may like.
- App performance data to fix bugs and optimize generation speed.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide core services: Process your hand photos and design prompts to generate custom nail art, save your creations to your personal gallery, and sync your favorites across your devices if you have an account.
- Improve our AI model: You may opt in to allow us to use anonymized, de-identified design results and non-identifiable parts of hand photos to improve the accuracy and quality of our AI generation. This data is never linked to your personal account.
- Personalize your experience: Recommend nail art styles and new features based on your design preferences.
- Technical support: Resolve app crashes, generation errors, and respond to your support requests.
- Service updates: Notify you of important app updates, policy changes, or new feature launches (you may opt out of non-essential communications at any time).
Note: If you use Criltox in guest mode without creating an account, all your photos, designs and preferences are stored only on your local device, and we never receive or store this data on our servers unless you explicitly choose to back up your gallery.
4. Data Retention
- Temporary hand photos uploaded for design generation are automatically deleted from our processing servers within 72 hours after your design is completed, unless you explicitly opt in to contribute anonymized data for AI training.
- Account data and gallery content saved to your account is retained until you request deletion of your account.
- Anonymized training data is retained indefinitely to improve our AI model, but contains no information that can be used to identify you personally.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We will never sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We only share your information in the following limited cases:
- Service providers: We share data with trusted third-party service providers that help us operate our service, such as cloud hosting providers, AI processing infrastructure providers, and customer support tools. All providers are required to adhere to strict privacy standards and may not use your data for any purpose outside of providing services to us.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by applicable law, or if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to comply with legal processes, protect our rights or property, or ensure the safety of our users or the public.

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will immediately delete this information from our systems.
